From May to July, we had the pleasure of welcoming 33 schools from across the country to Elemental UK. This was part of our Watersports Residentials for Schools program. The students stayed in one of our five established accommodation options. All of these are perfectly situated to provide an authentic Cornish experience. Our Newquay centre is a mere five-minute walk from the world-famous Fistral Beach. Our Falmouth centre is on Swanpool Beach in the heart of Falmouth.
The groups were well-catered with three hearty meals a day. They had plenty of snacks to energise them for their busy schedules. Our communal spaces provided a welcoming environment for socialising in the evenings. Thus allowing students to unwind, bond with their peers, and enjoy a taste of independence.
Most importantly throughout their stay, the students immersed themselves in various exciting activities. Surfing and bodyboarding were highlights for all, with sessions conducted by our trusted surf schools in Newquay. The children made the most of the excellent surf breaks right on their doorstep, guided by our experienced and enthusiastic instructors.
We aimed to provide not just a trip, but a memorable adventure that combined fun, education, and the unique natural beauty of Cornwall. Additionally the feedback from the schools has been overwhelmingly positive. Our students and teachers expressed how much they enjoyed the activities and the overall experience. We are proud to have been a part of their journey and look forward to welcoming many more schools in the future.
