Time 2 Move FAQs

Who is eligible for free Time 2 Move places?

Free Time 2 Move places are available to children who meet Cornwall Council’s eligibility criteria, typically including those receiving benefits-related free school meals. Some additional funded spaces may also be available for children identified as needing support. Full eligibility is confirmed by the council.

How do parents get a booking code?

Booking codes are issued directly by Cornwall Council. If your child is eligible, you will receive your code via email or through your child’s school ahead of the holiday period. This code is required to book free sessions.

Is lunch provided as part of the programme?

Yes. All Time 2 Move participants receive a healthy meal as part of their funded place. Meals are designed to be simple, nutritious and suitable for active days. Please let us know any dietary requirements in advance.

Where are the drop-off and pick-up points?

Newquay sessions run from Elemental Surf Lodge / Fistral Beach. Falmouth sessions run from Swanpool Beach at our South Coast centre. Full arrival details, including exact meeting points and timings, will be shared after booking.

Is the age range the same as the standard Kids Club?

Yes. Time 2 Move sessions generally follow the same age ranges as our standard Kids Club, ensuring activities are appropriate, safe and enjoyable for all participants.

Can you support children with additional needs?

Yes. We take a child centred approach and have experience supporting children with a wide range of additional needs, including neurodiverse children. We understand that every child is different. Our sessions are flexible and inclusive.

What does that look like in practice? We adapt sessions to each child’s confidence and ability level. Our instructors use clear communication and simple guidance. We create a positive, low pressure environment where children progress at their own pace.

If your child has specific needs, please get in touch before booking so we can understand how best to support them.

Is my child in safe hands? (Why parents trust us)

Yes. This is our 6th year delivering the Time 2 Move programme in partnership with Cornwall Council. Here is why parents trust us:

  • We work with 4,000+ children annually across our activity programmes
  • Sessions are led by qualified, experienced instructors specializing in children
  • We follow a strict structure built around safety and confidence building
  • We regularly deliver for schools and youth groups year-round
  • We adapt our sessions to fit the child, not the other way around
